The British Music Society is proud to announce the third release on its highly praised Historic label – a recital of English piano pieces played by the acclaimed pianist and composer John McCabe in performances first issued in the 1970s and re-issued here on CD for the first time, in digitally remastered sound. The recording is released in celebration of John McCabe’s 70th birthday on 21 April 2009.
